New online initiative for hymnwriters.

Hymnwriters Online Clinic.

Date: Thursday October 22nd

Time: 7.30pm-9.30pm

Leaders: Noel Tredinnick, assisted by Roger Peach

Venue: online via Zoom (details will be sent to participants)

A great opportunity for a group of hymnwriters from far and wide to gather to have their work assessed by experts, with a short time for assessment allocated for each participant. We'll be focusing the evening on writing music for hymns rather than words; in due course the aim is to set up another one specifically for hymn lyric writing.

Each participant is invited to send in one piece in advance - then on the evening Noel and Roger will look at each one in turn and offer their comments. There will also be a short plenary discussion about writing music for hymn texts.

To book simply follow the instructions via the green book now tab to the right of this page. Numbers will be limited to just 8 for this first session so that everyone's music is included, so book early to avoid disappointment. We aim to have similar events in the future.

Participants booking now full, but the booking will remain open for observers to book in - please use the same booking process and I will contact you with full details.
