AFFIRMING OUR FAITH (21)
From 2 Corinthians, 4 and 5

We speak because we believe:

God,
who raised the Lord Jesus Christ to life,
will also raise us up with Jesus,
and take us together into his presence.

Though outwardly we are wasting away,
inwardly we are being renewed day by day;
we live by faith, and not by sight. Amen.

AFFIRMING OUR FAITH (22)
From Galatians 2

We have been crucified with Christ
and we no longer live,
but Christ lives in us.
The life we live in the body
we live by faith in the Son of God,
who loved us and gave himself for us. Amen.

AFFIRMING OUR FAITH (23)
From Ephesians 2

Let us declare our faith in the resurrection and reign of Christ:

By his mighty power
God raised from the dead
our Lord Jesus Christ
and seated him at his right hand in heaven;
far above all rule and authority,
power and dominion,
and every title that can be given,
not only in the present age
but also in the age to come.

God placed all things under his feet
and appointed him
to be head over everything
for the Church,
which is his body,
the fullness of him who fills everything everywhere and always. Amen.

AFFIRMING OUR FAITH (24)
From Ephesians 3

Let us declare our faith in God:

We believe in God the Father,
from whom every family in heaven and on earth is named.

We believe in God the Son,
who lives in our hearts through faith,
and fills us with his love.

We believe in God the Holy Spirit,
who strengthens us with power from on high.

We believe in one God;
Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Amen.

AFFIRMING OUR FAITH (25)
From Ephesians 4 (variant)

We believe in one body, the church,
one Holy Spirit,
one hope to which we are called,
one Lord Jesus,
one faith,
one baptism,
one God and Father of all,
who is over all and through all and in all. Amen.
