O Lord, we need you, our hearts are wounded:
we have sinned against you -
forgive us, O Lord.
Our days fade like evening shadows:
we have sinned against you -
forgive us, O Lord.
We are weak and despise ourselves:
in your constant love save us;
through Jesus our redeemer. Amen.
