CONFESSING OUR SINS (35)
From Mark 12 and Psalm 119
Hear the words of Jesus - 'love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength; and love your neighbour as yourself':
Lord, we have sinned:
we have not followed your law,
we have not kept your commandments,
we have not sought for you with all our heart,
we have not walked in your ways,
we have not fully obeyed you.
Lord, we long to be faithful and obedient - do not put us to shame:
give us upright hearts,
teach us obedience,
and never forsake us;
for Jesus' sake. Amen.
