Lord, we have not obeyed your word,
nor heeded what is written
in the Scriptures:
we repent with all our heart,
and humble ourselves before you.
In your mercy forgive us:
grant us your peace
and the strength to keep your laws;
through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
