The Lord your God is merciful and gracious, slow to be angry and full of love; he will not accuse you for ever, or be angry with you always; he does not treat you as your sins deserve, nor repay you according to your wrongdoing: he has compassion on you as a father has compassion on his children, and forgives you your sins; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
