From Isaiah 63
God, our Father, we have strayed from your paths:
we have been stubborn
and have turned away from you.
You are the one who has always rescued us. Look upon us from heaven where you live in holiness and glory:
show your love for us,
show your power,
show your mercy.
For our sake, who love you - for our sake, who are your people:
return to us and forgive;
through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
