Redeemer God, you have sent your Son to seek and to save those who are lost. Uphold those who work in the lonely outposts of the world bringing good news to distant tribes to whom your name is unknown. Keep them from disheartenment, disease and danger. Prosper their work, so that those who live in darkness, ignorance and superstition may learn with joy the love of Christ and come with gladness to know his peace, in whose name we pray. Amen.
