PRAYING FOR PROTECTION
From Psalm 3
Lord, you are our shield from danger. When we call to you for help:
hear our prayer from heaven.
When people turn against us or mock our faith:
restore our courage,
and bring us victory;
When troubles surround us on every side:
give us rest,
make us sleep in peace,
and protect us all night long.
Lord come to us:
Lord save us.
Bless us your people:
we shall overcome
in you alone. Amen.
