From Psalm 48
O Lord God, you are great and most worthy of praise; worship in your house is our greatest joy. You are our God and will for ever be our guide; you have done great things from the beginning. As we have heard, so have we seen: your name like your praise reaches to the ends of the earth; your hand is full of good things:
now in your presence
we recall your unfailing love;
through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
