1 All one in Christ! this is our joyful song;
To Christ our hearts and brightest hopes belong.
No longer shall old ways and groups divide
The men and women summoned to his side.
2 Would all were prophets! that discerning plea
Is answered now for all the world to see.
Since Pentecost God's Spirit is outpoured
On all the sons and daughters of the Lord.
3 Mary and Luke, Elizabeth and John,
Anna and Mark the shining roll runs on.
Joint-heirs with Christ, they labour and they pray
To grasp their opportunities today.
