Creator God and Father
of those who live alone,
to whom all hearts are open
and all desires are known.
Be with us in our resting,
our rising every day,
our dreaming and our doubting,
our struggles on the way.

Creator God, Redeemer
from wrong, and waste and pain;
where love has ceased to flourish
bring springtime's growth again.
Where friends become forgetful
and frailty isolates;
come, Lord, the welcome stranger
to lodge within our gates.

Creator, Holy Spirit,
indwelling, fruitful one;
the bond between the Father
and his beloved Son:
give love and strength and courage
to all who live alone;
to you all hearts are open
and all desires are known.
