1 Given by grace,
received by faith,
our holy food!
Token of peace,
the soul's release,
the Bread of God:

2 Promise of heaven,
our sins forgiven
through love divine!
Word of the Lord,
'This cup my blood,'
the saving sign.

3 Praise to his name
who loved and came
our hope to be!
'This grace renew,
and when you do,
remember me.'
