1 Hallelujah, praise the Lord!
Where the people love his name,
where my Saviour is adored,
thanks and praise shall be my theme.
All his works are just and great;
here we find our chief delight:
good it is to meditate
all his everlasting right.
2 We recall what he has done,
tender mercies, firm and sure;
he is God the holy One,
all his promises endure.
He provides our daily bread,
he defends his people's cause,
life and home and all we need,
by his everlasting laws.
3 Rich in his redeeming grace,
keeping covenant he came:
see the glory in his face-
holy, holy is his name!
Fear him-that is wisdom's way;
here begin our happiest days.
Trust him-thus we shall obey
God our everlasting praise.
