1 Have you not heard? Do you not know
that Christ has died for you?
that through his death he conquered death
to pay the ransom due.
2 What shall we say? How shall we live?
since through his word revealed
he calls on us to die with him,
deep in his tomb concealed.
3 Is there no hope? Is there no joy?
Yes! Bursting from the grave,
baptized in him we rise to life
freed by his power to save.
4 One in his death, one in his life,
in baptism restored,
we trust his promise, know his power
and serve our mighty Lord.
