Lord Jesus Christ, God's only Son,
we worship you, the Holy One;
we come with reverential fear,
draw near to you as you draw near.
Have mercy, Lord, for we have sinned;
rebelled against your words of truth
yet we come back because your word
tells us of grace abounding.

Where grace abounds there's hope for all,
O may we hear your gracious call
and see by faith the cross on high
where you were nailed and left to die.
The cross of shame on Calvary's hill,
where your own blood was shed for sin,
is where the sinner always hears
"Your sins are now forgiven."

O what forgiveness we have known!
O what a love our God has shown!
a love that brings us joy and peace,
a love we know will never cease.
Lord Jesus Christ, God's only Son,
we worship you, the Holy One;
take us and use us as you will,
our Saviour-King for ever.
