1 Lord of glory, in our darkness
shine upon us with your light
as, when walking to Damascus,
Saul beheld the vision bright:
filled with fear he learned your gospel,
then proclaimed it with delight.

2 He who served you in the Spirit,
preached to Roman, Greek, and Jew,
and with burning love and passion
lived a message that was true;
Paul, apostle to the nations,
held the whole wide world in view.

3 Now, rejoicing at his memory,
in this consecrated place;
we recall the truths he taught us
and the hope of saving grace.
So, we worship you, Lord Jesus,
reigning King of time and space.
