1 More blessed than those who take
Are those who give, he said
Who gave himself, his love, his life
And rose up from the dead.

2 Break bread with all the poor,
They are my friends, he said
Whose body, broken for the world
Was raised up from the dead.

3 Lay hands upon the sick
And comfort them he said
Who beckoned Laz'rus four days gone
And raised him from the dead.

4 Go preach and tell how near
God's Kingdom is, he said
Who wore a royal crown of thorns
And rose up from the dead.
