O sing a new song, O sing to the Lord, his wonders declare

O sing a new song,
O sing to the Lord,
his wonders declare
with joyful accord!
His might and his mercy
have saved us from shame,
and brought him the victory -
all praise to his name!

His power to redeem
the Lord has made plain,
the nations now see
his righteousness reign;
his bond with his people
the Lord has recalled,
and all earth has seen
the salvation of God.

Then sing, all the earth,
rejoice in the Lord,
break forth into song,
his praise be outpoured!
With strings and with trumpets
make music and sing,
acclaiming in triumph
the Lord God, the King!

Let islands and seas
resound with delight,
the rivers rejoice,
and mountains unite
to sing to their Maker,
the Lord who comes forth
to judge with true justice
all nations on earth.
