Our Father God, we marvel now
at landscapes you create;
at towering seas and distant stars
and earth's evolving state.
Unceasingly with love you work
to make all fragments whole,
to draw an answering response
from every human soul.

Our Saviour Christ, we ponder on
the glory which you left
to come to backstreet Bethlehem,
set in a world bereft.
To seek and save the lost you came,
to suffer and to die
and in your Father's power to rise
and reign, restored on high.

Our Comforter, we hear you come
as softly as the wind,
invigorating human life
and quickening the mind.
You come, just as at Pentecost,
to tell good news of Christ,
to help each questing traveller
regain lost paradise.

Most High and Holy Trinity,
though One, you move as Three,
united in profound respect
for personality.
Let all creation join your song,
the selfless song of love,
a music that transforms us now
and lifts our hearts above.
