1 Partners in the Gospel
may our title be
from that day, Lord Jesus,
when we first could see
why from heaven to death you came,
how you won the highest name.
2 Worthy of the Gospel?
May it shape our life,
filled with loving boldness,
freed from fear and strife,
finding joy in pain and loss
by the pattern of your cross.
3 Working for the Gospel,
may your church defend,
preach it and confirm it,
suffer and contend,
till at last our prayers give way
to the glories of your Day
