1 Praise the Lord, Hallelujah!
Servants of God, sing praise to his name!
Let his name be uplifted, worshipped now and evermore.
From the sunrise to its setting
let the name of the Lord be praised:
God is highly exalted over all.
2 Who is like him in glory,
over the nations, ruling the world?
Our God rules over heaven, yet stoops down to see the earth.
He lifts up the poor and needy
from their ashes to a royal throne:
