Rejoice, rejoice, you men of God
1 Rejoice, rejoice, you men of God,
A song we'll sing, a song that's new,
Musicians, play with all your skill,
For God is faithful, God is true.
2 All that exists has sprung from Him,
It flourishes at His decree,
He made the heaven and the earth,
He formed the stars, the sky, the sea.
3 The schemes of men are His to change,
His purposes alone will stand,
His gaze still searches every heart,
Our happiness is in His hand.
4 No warrior can block His way,
No army's might frustrate His plan,
For he who stands in awe of God,
And trusts Him, is the happy man.
5 Though death or famine grip his flesh,
No evil force shall touch his soul,
His hope is in God's endless love
His heart is under God's control.
6 Rejoice, rejoice then, men of God,
His love shall rest upon us all,
We place our trust in Him alone,
And, through His grace, we shall not fall.
