The stone was rolled away,
Jesus is alive!

They nailed his body to the tree,
There on Calvary
where he died for you and me.

Jesus, we honour you the King of kings and Lord of lords;
you came from heaven's highest throne to seek and save the lost.
You offer now eternal life to all who turn away from sin,
whilst trusting all you won at such tremendous cost.
Jesus you're the Prince of Peace, you offer rest to troubled souls;
amidst the stress and strife of life the still small voice is clear.
The Spirit lovingly guides our hearts, transforming us through your dear Name,
with love divine and deeper joy and peace than this world has known.
Now our burden's rolled away!
Through Christ we stand forgiven,
The Spirit's turned our night to day,
He gives the hope of heaven.
And nought can snatch us from his love,
He holds us in his love.
We shall enjoy the life above,
For heaven is our home!
