The Lord is my light and salvation in life

1 The Lord is my light and salvation in life.
The Lord is my stronghold, so whom shall I fear?
Though men may assail me
They will stumble and fall,
For though battles rage, I will trust in the Lord.

2 One thing which I seek is to live in God's house
To gaze on His beauty and learn more of Him
In trouble He will protect me
Lifting my head
And I will rejoice and will sing to the Lord!

3 O Lord hear my voice when I call upon You.
You said 'Seek my face' and Your face do I seek.
In anger do not reject me
You are my help
I know I will see all Your goodness, O Lord!
