1 The Lord is my Shepherd, so nothing I lack;
He makes me in pastures lie;
Beside the still waters He gently will lead,
My needs He will daily supply.

2 The Lord is my Saviour, my soul He restores,
He found me when lost and astray;
He shows me the way of His truth and His will,
And helps me to trust and obey.

3 The Lord is my shield, I no evil shall fear;
He lightens the dark paths I tread;
He always is near me, with rod and with staff,
And now death itself has no dread.

4 The Lord is my strength, at His table I find
The power to defeat all my foes;
My life He sustains with His kindness and grace,
With blessing my cup overflows.

5 The Lord is my song, of His love I will sing,
I'll dwell in His house all my days;
His goodness and mercy will follow me still,
His Name I for ever will praise.
