The plan of God is sure,
eternal in its scope.
It offers to the human race
its one enduring hope.
The truth of God breaks through,
revealing to the wise
his saving purposes, long hid
from unbelieving eyes.
The Son of God on earth,
child of the virgin’s womb,
he lived and died, the perfect man,
resurgent from the tomb.
The church of God includes
the faithful in all lands;
both young and old, both rich and poor,
secure in God’s good hands.
The reign of God is near,
peaceful and just its goal.
As Father, Son and Spirit rule
a universe made whole.
