Where may that love be found
1 Where may that love be found
uplifting and complete,
a love which bears and braves all things,
which death cannot defeat?
2 A parent for its child
will often mountains move;
a husband caring for a wife
reflects this strength of love.
3 In Christ upon the Cross
Love's depths we see revealed;
a sacrifice for others' sake,
as God the Father willed.
4 No greater love than this
dare we expect to find,
that seeks the good of the beloved
and leaves self-love behind.
5 Give us, Lord Christ, your help
to tread this narrow way,
to live your resurrection life
and enter into joy.
