Your hands that gave the hungry bread (By your wounds)
Your hands that gave the hungry bread,
healed the sick and raised the dead,
touched blind eyes and made them see,
nailed so violently.
Your feet that walked this very earth,
spread a message of such worth,
feet that walked on waters deep,
walked to Calvary.
How can it be that these servant hands and feet
wear scars that set us free?
By your wounds we are healed, by your wounds we are healed.
Your voice that calmed the raging sea,
ordered evil powers to flee,
gave direction to the lost,
silenced on the cross.
Your life, so free from guilt and pride,
with no stain of sin to hide,
still had its innocence denied.
Your voice ignored and your precious blood outpoured,
and all for our reward!
By your wounds we are healed, by your wounds we are healed. (repeat)
Only you could pay the price by giving up your life,
your perfect sacrifice, Lord Jesus Christ. (repeat)
By your wounds we are healed, by your wounds we are healed...
