O Lord God, you will search me out;
you can see when I sit and when I stand;
you can see when I rest and when I walk
and you know every thought as it comes to me.

Where would I go to be far from you ?
if I slept in the sea, if I sailed away ?
if I flew out to heaven you would find me there;
even darkness itself is not dark to you.

O Lord God you created me
in a wonderful way you have fashioned me.
As you seek me, O God, and discern my heart,
lead me on in the way to eternal life.
