AFFIRMING OUR FAITH(11)
From John 6, 11, 14 and 20

We believe and know
that Jesus is the Holy One of God.


We believe that he is the Christ,
the Son of God,
who was to come into the world.


We believe that he is in the Father
and the Father is in him.


We believe that Jesus is the Christ,
the Son of God,
and that by believing
we have life in his name. Amen.



AFFIRMING OUR FAITH (12)
From Romans 1

We believe in the Gospel,
promised by God long ago
through the prophets,
written in the Holy Scriptures.


We believe in Jesus Christ as Lord,
born a descendant of David,
shown with great power
to be the Son of God
by his raising from death. Amen.



AFFIRMING OUR FAITH (13)
From Romans 1, 4 and 8

Let us proclaim our faith:

We believe in God the Father,
whose eternal power and divine nature
are clearly seen
in the creation of the world.


We believe in God the Son,
who died for our sin,
and rose again for our justification.


We believe in God the Holy Spirit,
who bears witness with our spirits
that we are the children of God.


We believe in one God:
Father, Son and Holy Spirit. Amen.

Jesus is Lord:
God has raised him from the dead!


By our faith we are put right with God:
by our confession we are saved.


This we believe
and this we proclaim. Amen.

from him all things come.


We believe in one Lord Jesus Christ:
through him we come to God.

in him we are baptised into one body.
