Lord God almighty,
we have rejected your law,
and have not obeyed your commandments;
we have ignored the needs of the poor,
and denied justice to the oppressed.
Lord, we have sinned
and dishonoured your holy name:
have mercy on us;
for Jesus' sake. Amen.
