Lord, you are our light and our salvation; you protect us from danger, you remove our fears from us, you invite us to worship you:
Lord, you are our light and our salvation.

Our greatest desire is to live in your presence: here we marvel at your goodness and ask for your guidance:
Lord, you are our light and our salvation.

Here, with joyful acclamation, we offer the sacrifice of our love, our gifts and our lives:
Lord, you are our light and our salvation.

Here we sing your praise, here we seek your forgiveness, here you teach us your will, and lead us in safe paths:
Lord, you are our light and our salvation.

We trust you and will not despair;
we know we shall see your goodness in our lives;
and we look to you for the life to come;
through Jesus Christ our saviour. Amen.
