O Lord, holy One (Psalm 29)

O Lord, holy One, with all the hosts of heaven:
we give your glory and praise.

We bow down to worship you
in the splendour of your holiness:
we give your glory and praise.

We hear your voice in the thunder,
in all its power and majesty;
we perceive your strength in the mighty forests
and upon the jagged mountains.
O Lord, holy One, with all the hosts of heaven:
we give your glory and praise.

We sense your presence in the lightning flash
and in the rumbling earthquake;
you rule over the deep sea as king for ever:
we bow down to worship you in the splendour of your holiness:
we give your glory and praise.

You give strength to your people and bless them with peace;
and in your house everyone shouts aloud:
'Glory and praise to God!' Amen.
