PRAYING FOR GODLINESS
From Psalm 17
Lord God, you listen to our prayers, and you do what is right:
search our hearts
and cleanse them from every evil desire.
Purge our tongues that we speak no evil - even when others do; teach us to obey your commands and not to follow the path of violence:
lead us in your ways
and never let us stray from them.
Turn to us, hear us,
and reveal to us your wonderful love
in Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
