Michael Booker
Biography
Michael Booker was born in Sussex and grew up in Wimbledon where he attended Raynes Park Grammar school. He studied at the London College of Music as organ scholar, and afterwards at the London College of Divinity in Northwood. Later in Suffolk he was Minor Canon Precentor at St Edmundsbury Cathedral for sixteen years, and then Chaplain of Framlingham College for sixteen years before retirement. He is married to Suzanne. He has written much music for the Church's liturgy and for children and young people.
