our Sovereign Lord, to you;
we wonder at your boundless grace,
your love that’s ever new.
You know the names of all the stars
and hold them in your hand,
and yet our smallest cares and joys
you share and understand.

2 We thank you for your precious Son – 
for Jesus freely came
to shed his blood upon the cross
and wash away our shame.
We thank you that he prays for us
in glory at your side,
and that you sent your Spirit down
to be our Friend and Guide.

3 O God, our help in troubled times,
our shelter from the storm,
your angels spread their mighty wings
to keep us safe from harm.
May we reflect your grace and love
and live to bring you praise
until you call us home at last
with you for endless days.
